Trying to manage my naturally thick and very curly hair has always been a nightmare and could easily take up to an hour to do each day. Since having the Keratin treatment at Blowwave Bar my hair routine has completely changed. Gone are the days when I would battle with the hair dryer and hair straitener in the Queensland humidity, I can now literally wash my hair and walk out the door. My hair is soft and frizz free while still having body. The staff at Blowwave Bar are extremely experienced and knowledgeable. The difference I found between them and staff at other hair salons is that they actually listen to what the customer wants and produce desired results.

So I had my haircut at Blowwave bar and I couldn’t be happier with it. It was with Leanne who is the owner and is great – lots of tips and suggestions but not pushy at all. She cut my mushroom hair into a nice sleek bob that is sitting really well even after a couple of washes. Am loving it and will defiantly be going back! So happy to finally find a great HD!
Hi girls after reading through all your posts I booked an appointment at blowwave bar. I had my hair colored two Saturday’s ago and came back again on the weekend just passed for a hair cut. I had Leanne both times and I think she’s fantastic! I’ve had heaps of hairdresser fails in the past and had pretty much given up but Leanne has totally restored my faith!
She was really helpful and gave me a cut and colour that I love and that suits me. She also had loads of helpful tips and was totally sensitive to the fact that I was on a budget.
I’m so happy and so relieved. I can absolutely recommend the Blowwave Bar. They also have a great rewards program, which I think is awesome and Leanne and Hilda are really friendly.
My colour at Blowwave bar costs $235 for the colour and my cut and blowdry cost $69, which included a $20 discount, which you receive after your first visit. I should also mention that the blowdry is not the usually half hearted dry with a hairdryer and then straighten to death with a ghd. They actually give you a proper blow dry and style and I left with my hair looking Hollywood worthy.
